Zhuhai is a hidden gem that offers travelers a unique blend of natural beauty, culture, and history. Located in the Guangdong province of China, this coastal city is perfect for a weekend getaway. Here’s your guide to Zhuhai and six must-visit places:

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom

If you’re a fan of marine life, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a must-visit. This theme park is home to over 10,000 marine animals and features eight themed areas. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the park’s star attraction, the world’s largest aquarium dome.

Getting to Zhuhai is easy. Visitors can take a ferry from Hong Kong or Macau, or fly into Zhuhai Jinwan Airport.

In addition to these must-visit places, Zhuhai is also home to a vibrant food scene. Be sure to try some of the city’s famous seafood dishes, such as steamed fish and crab congee.

The best time to visit Zhuhai is during the autumn months of September to November when the weather is mild and comfortable. The summer months of June to August can be hot and humid, while the winter months of December to February can be cold and rainy. Spring, from March to May, is another good time to visit as the weather is mild and the city’s gardens and parks are in full bloom. Keep in mind that the Chinese New Year holiday falls in late January or early February, so travel during this time can be busy and accommodations may be more expensive.
