The 2018 Hong Kong National Day is right around the corner – October 1, to be precise. And we all know what that means. Fireworks! Taking place over the Victoria Harbour, the impressive display will kick off at 9pm, and lasts for approximately 23 minutes.
The most popular locations to view the show include the waterfront promenade in Tsim Sha Tsui, Admiralty’s Tamar Park, and Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai. But there are other options, too.
Further afield
The West Kowloon waterfront promenade, the Central ferry piers, and the Causeway Bay typhoon shelter are just a few alternatives that also offer great views of the 2018 Hong Kong National Day fireworks.

Hate crowds? No problem. Instead of being in amongst all the action, why not rise above the maddening crowds and grab a drink at Ozone, the sleek, chic bar perched on the 118th floor of the ICC. You could also take the tram up to the Peak for an aerial vantage point, or ride the Hong Kong Observation Wheel (several times) for rotating perspectives.
