A Perfect (Tea) Pairing: Two Hong Kong favorites have teamed up to bring an epic afternoon tea to a stunning location this autumn. Upper House and Plantation by teakha are collaborating on an exclusive afternoon tea at Café Gray Deluxe. Expect a smorgasbord of savoury and sweet treats, many of which are spiked with brews by Plantation by teakha – plus, it’s all served alongside sweeping views of Victoria Harbor. For the first time in over 10 years, the signature scones here have been tweaked – they now feature sweet morsels of candied ginger – but you’ll also enjoy a goat’s cheese and sweet fig tart (infused with red oolong tea); delicious salmon on Guinness bread (featuring a touch of sweetness from apple blossom verbena); and matcha gives some extra flavor to a decadent cheesecake. We can highly recommend you pair your treats with the masala chai from the tea menu provided by (of course) Plantation by teakha.
