With Lunar New Year just around the corner, here are some exciting events to keep an eye on in Hong Kong, for the month of February!

The 52nd Hong Kong Arts Festival

The annual festival will feature more than 150 performances across 45 programs, including musicals, ballets, operas, and symphony events. The festival will also include over 350 outreach and education events.

Lunar New Year Festivities

The annual Lunar New Year Parade will feature colorful floats, marching bands, troupes of acrobats, lively dragons, traditional Chinese dancers and more. It is traditionally held on the first night of the Lunar New Year.  Moreover, to welcome the Lunar New Year, a fleet of boats and barges set up in the middle of Victoria Harbour will launch a fireworks display, lighting up the sky with bursts of shimmering color. This breathtaking show will last approximately 20-25 minutes and is one of the city’s signature events. Also, don’t forget the Flower Market at Victoria Park!

The AIA Winter Carnival at the Central Harbourfront will be held until February 25 this year, and even include some Lunar New Year events this month. It offers a wide range of family-friendly attractions including rides, games, music performances, circus acts, street performers, and delicious food options.
