Blue Bottle Coffee is celebrating its fourth anniversary in Hong Kong with a few exciting events! From April 1 to 7, the Blue Bottle Coffee Wan Chai Cafe will host the AkihiroWoodworks in Hong Kong exhibition, showcasing exquisite handmade wooden cups from the internationally acclaimed AkihiroWoodworks studio.

The exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for the public to appreciate the craftsmanship of Japanese artisans and their skillful woodworking creations up close. The showcased wooden cups, known as jincups, are highly sought after and have garnered attention both in Japan and internationally. Each release of these products generates enthusiastic demand from coffee enthusiasts.

Blue Bottle Coffee has collaborated with AkihiroWoodworks on various occasions, most notably on the highly acclaimed jincup. The craftsmanship of AkihiroWoodworks has been exhibited in prestigious locations such as Paris and New York, earning admiration from the art community. The jincup, designed to preserve the aroma of coffee, has become a coveted collector’s item.

As part of the Hong Kong exhibition, AkihiroWoodworks has released a limited edition of 50 Hong Kong-themed Jincups. These special cups feature the Blue Bottle logo and the words “Hong Kong,” making them highly collectible. Jin Akihiro himself, the mastermind behind AkihiroWoodworks, will be present at the Blue Bottle Coffee store in Wan Chai on April 1st and 2nd.
