Meet YaLocalOffGod or Andrew Mok, the 17-year-old local artist that has been taking over our Instagram feed this year. His creative ingenuity has earned him the praises of Art & Music idols such as Takashi Murakami and Future. Now he’s delving into real-life with his avant-garde concept pieces. It started off with a 3D printed Wing Ear concept AirPod Max piece that soon gained traction throughout the Gen-Z audience. As popularity for his merch rose, Drew showed us more of his AirPod Max ear designs such as the Mercury Melt and Sea urchin. This has gained the attention of TikTok star, Addison Rae, recently modelling his latest piece — Urchin Uni. The most recent piece, Winged skull prototype, now looks into the interchangeable lace lock concept that can pair will any shoes.
