What is it? The Mills officially opened in December 2018 as a landmark revitalization project under the Nan Fun Group, with Vanessa Cheung as its founder

Its vision is to become a business incubator, experiential retail destination, and a non-profit cultural institution.

The Mills were once home to a hotbed of industry during the manufacturing heydays of the 1960s. Today, mills 4, 5, and 6 have been transformed into a single complex – The Mills – with three main pillars: The Mills Fabrica, The Mills Shopfloor, and the Center for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT).

The Mills Fabrica is a business incubator and a platform for tech startups and strategic patterns in industries like fashion, textile, and technology.

The Mills Shopfloor is all about hands-on learning and experiential retail experiences, from artisan dining to maker culture.

The Mills CHAT is part of the heritage conservation project of The Mills. It will include exhibitions and provide co-learning programs. CHAT is scheduled to open in the spring of 2019.

The Mills is rich in history. Every week, an on-site tour is available to better understand reasons behind their thoughtful renovations and hidden details at various parts of The Mills.
