What is it? 40 teams from 34 international rugby unions will play at this year’s Cathay Pacific/ HSBC Hong Kong Sevens – the world’s largest rugby tournament. Over 120,000 fans are expected to attend the stadium from 5 April to 7 April.

Kicking off the Cathay Pacific/ HSBC Hong Kong Sevens will be Gwen Stefani, three-time GRAMMY® winner and global icon, on 5 April. Presented by Marriott Bonvoy, this one-off show will be held at Central Harbourfront.

The Sevens is a three-day event filled with world-class rugby revelry and entertainment. If you’re unable to see the games, you might want to head to Lee Gardens to watch the rugby action on the big screen and play take part in the festival’s activities from state-of-the-art ninja course, street performers, to a fun-filled family day.

Central Harbourfront will also be transformed to a fanzone that will feature live music, international performers, all-day happy hour drinks, and giveaways, while screening the games on the big screen.

Still, watching the Sevens at the Hong Kong Stadium is the ultimate experience. The South Stand is not for the faint-hearted, yet these are the most sought-after seats, where fans dress up in costumes and create an extravagant event in itself.
