What’s it called? LKK Showroom
What’s it about? Founded by Showroom Chan, a member of the band New Youth Barbershop and designing staff of the late Stand News, LKK Showroom has expanded its business from online to opening its physical storefront in the Sham Shui Po neighborhood.
Widely supported among youngsters for its dark humor that pokes fun at the absurdity of post-2019 Hong Kong, the house mixes old Hong Kong aesthetics into the founder’s witty take on pop culture in its illustration on printed T-shirts and apparel. Satire-y and sarcastic, the house takes the city’s unique nonsensical humor that had made a name through old local films into the modern-day.
