What’s it all about? This intimate fitness studio is geared towards mum and mums-to-be who don’t want to compromise on their pre-natal and postpartum fitness. Head trainer Esther Bland works with clients to build safe exercise regimes through their pregnancies, helps new mums rebuild their strength after labor, and also supports women who want to work out in a female-friendly studio. All programs are carefully designed so that exercise is possible at any stage, even for third trimesters and recent post-partums — the studio is supported by a registered obstetrician to ensure total safety. Aqua Terra offers a variety of cardio-and-weights programmes, but those with an adventurous bent can also try Hong Kong’s first Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) lessons for new mums for low-impact activity.
