What’s it all about? This Jordan-based book shop in the basement of Hotel Stage stocks a carefully curated selection of artisanal books, from locally and abroad. The common theme: the books are all printed with care, and dedicated to cultural themes of every sort. There are tomes that dive into specialist topics like retro Hong Kong-style apothecary labels; illustrated books made out of textured silkscreen; and even a small section dedicated to the Yau Ma Tei neighborhood. The books are mostly in English, but you will also come across Cantonese gems and even texts in Sanskrit.

Muse Art and Books also has an art gallery section that features different artists and their artworks and products on a rotating basis. It’s also got plenty of tables and a well-stocked cafe where you can grab a seat and enjoy your newly purchased books.

Where is it?  B/F, Hotel Stage, 1 Chi Wo Street, Yau Ma Tei, 3953-2222.
