Shaking Things Up: Shake Shack, the famous burger chain from New York City that has been approved by Anthony Bourdain himself, will be opening up in Hong Kong next year. According to a Bloomberg report, the project will be led by Hong Kong’s largest F&B group Maxim’s, and will eventually include more than a dozen locations across the city as well as Macau.
The aggressive plan is set to pave the path to Shake Shack shops in mainland China and its gargantuan market, eventually. In the meantime, Hongkongers will be the first Chinese city to enjoy NYC-style chargrilled burgers from the popular brand.
