After the successful OmniPork series — you can even find the OmniPork Luncheon at McDonald’s — OmniFoods is launching a brand new OmniSeafood series to offer plant-based fish alternatives. The new products include Omni Classic Fillet, Omni Golden Fillet, Omni Ocean Burger, OmniTuna and the forthcoming OmniSalmon.
Made from a blend of plant-based protein from non-GMO soy, pea and rice, Omni Classic Fillet, Golden Fillet and Ocean Burger are plant-based interpretations of mild white fishes with a clean flavor profile and a hint of sweetness. The Classic Fillet is fish in its original form, perfect for pan-frying, poaching and grilling. The Golden Fillet is crispy, golden-crusted, and goes well with any dipping sauces for a family-friendly meal.
For the classic ““Fillet-o-fish” burger, OmniFoods has the Omni Ocean Burger all ready — a flaky, deep-fried fish fillet. The OmniTuna comes in a can and has the classic chunky texture, easy to use in sandwiches, salads, or on crackers.
Looking forward to sample the OmniSeafood? Cordis Hong Kong and Ming Court Wanchai will be launching a series of new dishes in July. Try the Fried Omni Classic Fillet with dry chilli, Sichuan style in Ming Court Wanchai, or the New Fish and Chips at Cordis Hong Kong’s The Garage Bar.
Starting from June 23, Green Monday will also feature a series of new dishes made with OmniSeafood. Some of the dishes such as the OmniTuna Tartare, Spicy Storm OmniFillet and Lemon Light OmniFillet (Omni Golden Fish in Lemon Sauce) will be exclusively available in Green Common Sheung Wan Nan Fung Place Branch!
