Get ready to sink your teeth into Netflix’s latest reality series, Zombieverse, set to premiere on August 8th, 2023. The survival show is a collaboration between Park Jin-kyung, Moon Sang-don, and Kakoa Entertainment, and promises to be a blood-pumping, adrenaline-fueled ride.

Picture this: a zombie-infested Seoul, where a viral pandemic has turned the population into flesh-eating undead. The contestants must band together to survive the simulated zombie attack, as anyone who gets bitten by a zombie is promptly eliminated. The cast includes a diverse range of personalities, including the badass Sweet Home actress Lee Si-young, Ro Hong-Chul, Park Na-Rae, Tsuki, and more.

But this isn’t your grandmother’s reality show. The contestants will face daily challenges, including finding food, shelter, and transportation while avoiding the walking dead. Think you can handle it? The trailer shows the contestants facing off against zombies in a supermarket and a street fair, dodging zombies as they ride bumper cars and more. It’s like The Walking Dead met Fear Factor and had a baby.

The production team has worked tirelessly to create a highly immersive experience for viewers. The show’s art team from the popular scripted zombie series All of Us Are Dead has helped create the set, ensuring that the zombies look as realistic as possible. The makeup artist team in charge of All of Us Are Dead and Kingdom’s zombie action choreographer has also participated in the show’s production. So you can expect to see some seriously gnarly-looking zombies.

While the number of episodes in the first season has yet to be revealed, we’re hoping for enough episodes to quench our thirst for all things zombie. But let’s be real, we’ll probably binge-watch the entire season in one sitting.

Zombieverse is a fresh, exciting addition to Netflix’s lineup of original programming. It’s a show that promises to be a hit with its unique concept and exciting cast of contestants. So, grab your popcorn and get ready for a blood-soaked, heart-pumping adventure. Tune in on August 8th to watch the contestants fight for survival in a zombie-infested Seoul. And who knows, you might just learn a thing or two about what it takes to survive a zombie apocalypse.
