Old Timer
A declared monument, this temple was constructed in the 19th century and is dedicated to Kwun Yam, the goddess of mercy. Take in the unique octagonal hall and dragon-themed ceiling mural, relax in the garden, or even have your fortune told by the temple experts. This is also where the historic Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance takes place every year during Mid-Autumn Festival.

Boutique hotel and serviced apartment complex Little Tai Hang opened in 2017, bringing a healthy dose of quirk to the neighborhood with its charming, contemporary aesthetic. It’s also home to restaurants and bars that offer up a variety of tipples and nibbles, from contemporary European fare at Tipsy Restaurant and Bar to upscale comfort food at BOND.

A collaboration between renowned chef May Chow and the team behind TAP (The Ale Project), Second Draft pairs modern Asian fusion cuisine with local craft brews; wash dishes like flower crab pasta ($198) down with an IPA by Young Master Ales.

The Insta-worthy exposed concrete walls and expertly brewed coffee of this hole-in-the-wall coffee joint sees a steady crowd of hipsters spilling onto its front step. Besides a perfect espresso, the menu is also filled with creative, adventurous latte flavors including banana, crème brûlée, and even cucumber.

This unassuming Parisian wine bar serves over 100 wines and champagnes alongside bistro snacks such as cheese and cold cut platters, and even caviar. The red wood panels, dangling chandeliers, and wine barrels flanking the walls will transport you straight into the heart of Paris.
