Local mask company MaskOn opens its first concept store in Times Square on December 21, 2020. Known for its photogenic masks in muted colors, MaskOn has been slowly expanding its reach, from being online only to setting up vending machines and now launching a physical store MaskOn Gallery in the basement of Times Square.
The new shops stocks the full lineup of MaskOn’s products, including face masks, as well as special collaborations with local mobile accessories brand AMAZINGthing and local skincare brand Factiv. Its most popular products are its face masks in Jazzy, a muted peach shade, Wicked, a sage green shade, and Wintry, a cool-toned navy blue.
MaskOn produces its masks at a Hong Kong local mask factory located in Kwai Chung. Its four-ply mask is said to meet ASTM Level 2 and has a particle, bacterial, and viral filtration efficiency (PFE/BFE/VFE) of over 99%. The company puts up its certifications on the website.
