Global travelers, get ready to sip on some world-class cocktails at Hong Kong International Airport’s newest addition, Intervals. The first-of-its-kind airport bar concept aims to elevate the airport experience with its exceptional drinks and food program, set against the unbeatable backdrop of the newly opened Skybridge.

The bar is the brainchild of Mei Mei Song, Director of Global Brands and Transformation of airport hospitality leader Plaza Premium Group, and creative director Victoria Chow, founder of acclaimed Hong Kong bar The Woods. The concept is inspired by the idea that time becomes fluid when traveling, and key actions are measured in intervals of time.

Intervals boast a drinks program that features “flights of cocktails” tailored to the amount of time travelers have to spare, ranging from 15 to 45 minutes. The food experience is also tailored to travelers’ available intervals of time, with an elevated and global take on “pinchos” or tapas-style bar snacks.

Designed by Australian architect Mitchel Squires of AVT Studios, the bar is located on the Skybridge at HKIA, with a seat for every type of traveler. The space also includes nods to traditional time-keeping devices such as pendulums, sundials, and hourglasses.

Intervals is set to open in late June 2023, offering travelers a unique and exciting way to pass the time before their flight. So, check in early, grab a drink, and experience the “flights of cocktails” at Intervals.
