The future is here, and it’s meat-free. At the end of last month, California-based start-up Impossible Foods made its international launch — right here in Hong Kong. Backed by investors such as Li Ka-shing and Bill Gates, Impossible Foods creates plant-based meat alternatives. While plenty of other veggie patties and meat substitutes exist, none of them taste, smell or look as much like meat as much as Impossible Foods’ Impossible Burger does.
