Dear Lulu: I’m seeing a man and a woman at the same time. The other day, the man asked me if I am “seeing any other guy,” and I said no, because that’s technically true and also, I’m not sure if it’s okay to let him know I’m seeing someone else. Do you think I did the right thing? — Cutting Corners

Dear CC, wow, this is a tricky one…

Given that the man you’re seeing specifically asked you if you were “seeing any other guy,” I’m going to go on a whim and guess that you haven’t actually told him you date both sexes.

This is not really fair to him, nor to the woman you’re also seeing. I’m assuming that the woman you’re seeing doesn’t know you’ve been seeing a man. Now that you have cornered yourself into this situation, are you prepared for what would happen if either party finds out?

If this is causing you to question your decision in the first place, then it’s clear you know in your heart that it’s not quite right. I think you probably have some explaining to do to both. Out with it!
