On Father’s Day (18 June), one of the Rubber Ducks from the “DOUBLE DUCKS by Florentijn Hofman” exhibition will embark on a sea parade at Victoria Harbour, becoming the first-ever art installation on parade in Hong Kong. The parade will last about two hours and give everyone ample time to enjoy the event from various vantage points along the Harbour. The exhibition has drawn huge crowds of fans since its opening and will conclude with the reunion of the duo following the parade. Get ready to wander into the weird and wonderful world of Flabjacks, created by the talented Hong Kong-born artist Ton Mak. In her first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, “WELCOME HOME,” you’ll meet chubby friendly folk and embark on a journey to discover what makes a place feel like home. Featuring 29 acrylic paintings in a vibrant and carefree style, this exhibition showcases Mak’s latest artworks, including brand-new dinosaur and tiger characters. A 4m-tall wood sculpture of the quirky cheerful dinosaur serves as a guide, inviting you to delve into the fantastical world of Flabjacks!
