Cantonese in Central: ZS Hospitality is at it again, this time with a Cantonese fine-dine called Ying Jee Club on Connaught Road Central.

Look & Feel: The two-story establishment uses emerald green and gold as motifs and is contemporary in feel. Marbled tables are paired with wide padded seats in muted colors.

On the Menu: Ying Jee Club serves traditional Cantonese dishes as well as dim sum during the day. Dishes include stir-fried sliced lobster ($380); pan-fried crab claws ($260); and crispy salted chicken ($280).

Meet the Chef: Chef Siu Hin-chi had worked at various Michelin-starred establishments before taking the helm at Ying Jee Club.

Great For: Indulgent meals, fancy lunch.

FYI: Ying Jee in tonal Cantonese actually sounds identical to the name of the Nexxus Building, where the restaurant is located.
