Carnivore’s Heaven: This Lan Kwai Fong mainstay is all about its slow-roasted USDA prime rib, but it also offers up an array of all-American entrees and sides.

Look & Feel: Unlike what you might expect from a steakhouse, Westwood Carvery is chic and contemporary rather than rustic and hearty, making the most of the comparatively small space with slate grey tables paired with colorful chairs. The wood walls are lined with wine bottles in homage to its extensive international wine list.

On the Menu: Aside from the prime ribs, which are cooked in-house and served au jus with mashed potatoes and creamy horseradish ($388), the beef short ribs and pork baby back ribs are also must-tries. The menu is rounded out with salads, pastas, fish, and classic American sides (fries, creamed corn, creamed spinach) and sweets (brownie, apple crumble). Their prime rib “dip” sandwiches ($128 for half, $168 for full) have gotten rave reviews across the city.

Great For: A casual, relaxed dinner with a couple friends if you’re looking to escape the blinged-out club-going set of the rest of LKF.

FYI: Try the lunch set, which comes with a starter and main — usually a sandwich, pasta, or fish dish — with the option of adding on a drink and dessert.
