Straight from Milan: Founded in 1976, Trattoria del Pescatore was one of the first seafood restaurants in Milan. And it’s become an Italian icon. Now, this popular Milanese spot is bringing a slice of Italian tradition to Hong Kong.

Look & Feel: Talk about spacious and contemporary. this is a modern Italian restaurant complete with wood panels, white tablecloths and plenty of warm hanging lights.

On the Menu: Home-grown recipes and seafood are the focus here, and you’ll find plenty of traditional Sardinian dishes and ingredients on the menu. Expect signatures like Lobster Catalana ($800) and pasta plates such as Spaghetti with Clams and Mullet Roe ($250) and Paccheri del Pescatore ($250). Don’t miss the bread loves, which is a famous family recipe.

Great for: Date nights and special occasions

FYI: Don’t miss the fresh pecorino cheese served after the main course. The iced mirto – a traditional Sardinian liqueur – at the meal’s end is a nice touch.
