Coffee for Your Soul: This new addition to Sham Shui Po’s already impressive collection of cool cafes is founded by an astrologer and tarot reader who believes in spirituality. From the decor and down to the menu, everything is designed to heal and cleanse your soul and body and act as a reprieve from the challenging times right now. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet the resident tarot reader and you can get a reading while enjoying a cuppa!

Look & Feel: The space has a minimalist aesthetics with mainly white and light wood decor, as well as several carefully curated plants to invite in positive energy. The centerpiece of the intimate space is a large moon light hanging from the ceiling. It not only serves as a reminder of the potent and enlightening energy of the moon, but also as the perfect accessory for an instagram story.

On the Menu: The Soulroom’s house blend coffee uses locally roasted coffee beans from specialty shop Soulmate, or there’s always the option for single origin coffee beans. For people sensitive to caffeine, there’s an extensive herbal blend menu that includes rooibois and chamomile tisanes. The food menu includes mainly bagels, toast, scones as well as two stunning desserts — a sesame cheesecake and lemon tea tart.

Great For: Catching up with friends, a casual date

FYI: You can schedule a tarot reading or get a reading on your natal chart! Send a message to The Soulroom on facebook or instagram for more details.
