Contemporary International Cuisine: Part of Amante Group, The Next Chapter brings international fare to Tung Chung’s ever-expanding restaurant scene. It focuses on comfort food classics, premium seafood and fresh oysters.
Look & Feel: Much like this neighborhood’s crowd, the restaurant is very laid back and casual. Its inviting courtyard has a copper façade and features an al-fresco terrace to enjoy the cool afternoon breeze. Guests can sit at the comfortable booths, bar seating or high-top tables.
On the Menu: There’s a good mix of options to choose from, pretty much catering to any palate. Whether you’re stopping by for a morning coffee, a hearty lunch or romantic dinner, the restaurant welcomes guests for any occasion. Dishes go from fresh oysters and seafood to tasty appetizers like soups and salads. There’s an array of pastas and homemade sourdough pizzas and prime steak cuts. Signature dishes include the photogenic Calayu skewers (HK$218) and the salt seared ox tongue (HK$168) for starters. Gourmands love the seafood lobster bisque risotto (HK$188) for something a little more indulgent. For mains, go for the duck trilogy (HK$288) for succulent duck confit or the catch of the day (HK$238) which changes depending on the season. Don’t forget dessert – the tiramisu (HK$68) is a must. Plus, there’s happy hour from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
Great For: Casual meals, sunny days out.
FYI: The Next Chapter is currently in its soft launch and will officially open in early December.
