Thai at Harbour City: Thai Brasserie by Blue Elephant is Hong Kong’s very own outpost of the trusted Blue Elephant group, which started out in Brussels but has since won over Thai royalty and locals alike, back in its native homeland.

Look & Feel: Situated in Harbour City, this spacious mall restaurant is all about the royal blues and intricately patterned tile floors.

On the Menu: We’re not looking at any groundbreaking Thai dishes, but rather classic go-tos. Think king prawn pad Thai; king prawn tom yum goong (yes, king prawns are a dominant theme it seems); swimmer crab spring rolls. For dessert, durian lovers are in for a treat with a Thai durian tart on the menu.

Great For: Shopping break, group dinners.

FYI: The first Blue Elephant restaurant opened in 1980 in Brussels. Now, the group has restaurants in cities all over the world, including Bangkok, Phuket, London, Dubai, Paris and Copenhagen.
