Look & Feel: A modern take on the traditional Japanese izakaya, Silencio is sleek, sexy and brings the fun with a live jazz set-up. Le Comptoir’s restaurants are known for their focus on art, and Silence is no different. The new restaurant showcases the neo-expressionist works of Tokyo-based artist Tomoo Gokita.
On the Menu: Expect a menu that puts an irreverent, modern twist on traditional izakaya fare, all showcased with Le Comptoir’s signature sophisticated style. Local ingredients and modern techniques will breathe new life into popular izakaya favorites. The food will be able seconded by a well-curated range of junmai sakes and craft cocktails.
Meet the Chef: Sean Mell was previously the executive chef of NOBU Hong Kong.
