A Perennial Fave: After 12 years in operation, longtime Hong Kong favorite SEVVA shuttered earlier in 2019 in order to undergo a facelift. Reopening in October, it now boasts beautiful new installations as well as exciting additions to the menu.

Look & Feel: SEVVA now boasts a floral dome, 36 custom-made chandeliers, and silk flowers throughout the interiors of the restaurant. The bar space has been extended

On the Menu: New additions to the menu include wok-fried Boston lobster and pan-fried coral garoupa with goma ponzu, while several dishes from previous times remain, like Taiwanese beef noodles and wagyu beef cheek and ox tongue pot pie.

Great For: Taking out-of-towners for a drink and a bite on the terrace, famous for its one-of-a-kind views of the glitzy skyscrapers of Central and harborfront.

FYI: SEVVA’s bon vivant owner Bonnae Gokson, aka “Queen of Cakes,” also runs Ms B’s Cakery and C’est la B.
