American-Japanese Sushi: Rollie takes inspiration from the West Coast and Far East, bringing a unique iteration of well-loved sushi.

Look & Feel: The space looks cozy, much like your typical intimate sushi spot. There’s a chef counter so you can watch the magic happen in front of your eyes.

On the Menu: You can expect lots of open-style temaki – AKA, sushi handrolls – at Rollie. Appetizers range from spicy tuna with crispy rice to heavenly chicken gyozas. The Ex-Scallop-UR features scallop seared in garlic butter with blanched asparagus. We’re loving the California Dreamin’ for a jumbo-size concoction of a classic. If you’re just stopping by for takeout, Rollie features bento options that are exclusively available to take home. For dessert, tuck into the menu’s Cookie DPT offerings! P.S, in case you couldn’t tell already, puns are prominent.

Great For: Casual bites and innovative West Side sushi.

FYI: This joint is a venture from the same brains behind CARBS, a Detroit-style pizza joint in H-CODE.
