Around the World in 80 Bites: Inspired by the intrepid manservant in Jules Verne’s globetrotting novel “Around the World in 80 Days,” Passepartout is a brand new brunch and coffee spot with plenty of international flavor.

Look & Feel: Mimicking the rustic, laidback vibes of the all-day cafés of Canada and Europe, Passepartout features interiors of lake greens offset by warm lighting, wooden tables and chairs, well-stocked bookcases, and even some alfresco dining space.

On the Menu: Passepartout is all about bringing global flavors to a unique brunch and coffee experience, so its menu is of a particularly creative bent, blending ingredients, spices, and inspiration from around the world. The result is a list of fusion dishes, each named for the city that inspired it.

Drawing on the city’s love of luncheon meat, Hong Kong is a signature dish inspired by the fare of the city’s Cha Chaan Teng that features a Scotch egg, luncheon meat, and Japanese rice. Another signature dish, Calcutta, blends Southern American favorites with the spice of India’s West Bengal region to create a flavorful Butter Chicken Waffle dish where crispy, yogurt-marinated fried chicken is served on a bed of Masala waffle. For a sweet touch, the British-inspired Apple Pound Cake is a light, textured dish served with homemade cinnamon ice-cream. All the food is paired with a list of delightful coffee concoctions whipped up by Head Barista Melissa.

Great For: Weekend brunches, mid-week coffee breaks.
