Wholesome, Healthy Dining: Orka is the latest addition to Hong Kong’s growing wellness scene. The restaurant offers a holistic dining experience for the health-conscious crowd, catering to different diets that span vegan and vegetarian delights.

Look & Feel: It’s a cozy little establishment nestled away on Central’s Wyndham Street.

On the Menu: The concept at Orka, which means ‘energy’ in Swedish, is to provide wholesome, healthy dishes. Named a ‘five-dimensional culinary journey’, the kitchen is helmed by Head Chef Ching Tso and nutritionist Aswini Rachel. Its menu combines vegan and non-vegan wellness inspirations from around the world. The concept was founded by Nobin John, a health coach. Lucky for you, the space is open all day long, including for breakfast.

Try the classic avocado on sourdough (HK$78) which uses homemade cream cheese or the fresh fruits (HK$88), with berries and scones. For non-vegan bites, the Mighty Bulgogi burger (HK$128) is a must, using Aussie wagyu topped with cheddar cheese and yam. Everything is super healthy so you won’t feel guilty. We’ve got our eyes on the WoW salad bowl (HK$68) which combines curly kale with spinach and roast pumpkin. Quench your thirst with a refreshing smoothie or try one of the organic wellness teas. Plus, there’s a kid’s menu which is ideal for families.

Great For: Healthy, wholesome bites!

FYI: There’s an extensive coffee menu – Orka knows their stuff when it comes to caffeine!
