Italian, Japanese-style: Pacific Place has been changing its roster of restaurants in recent months, and Operetta is one of the newest kids on the block, replacing the longstanding American staple Dan Ryan’s.
Look & Feel: Think warm tones, Scandinavian-style furniture, and curvy touches.
Meet the Chefs: Chefs Fabio Sgro and Mitsura Konishi are the bosses at this Japanese-Italian venture.
On the Menu: Think updated Italian dishes like parma ham and rocket pizza and sakura shrimp pastas; and fusion-y starters in the form of croquettes and ceviches.
Great For: A fancy night out, a chi chi lunch.
FYI: Operetta is run by entertainment mogul Peter Lam’s Lai Sun Group.
