Monthly Pop-up in PoHo: One Star House Party is certainly a restaurant — just not in the traditional sense. Hongkongers will get to sit down for dinner at this restaurant-pop-up-hybrid just one week every month. The rest of the time, the unconventional team is busy putting on pop-up restaurants around the world.

Look & Feel: Even though it’s only around one week every month, One Star House Party calls the SoHo Printing Press building home.

On the Menu: Every month the tasting menu (from $1,000 per person) will change, each time celebrating a new kind of cuisine from far-flung corners — typically based on what ingredients the team sourced while traveling. One month One Star House Party might turn the spotlight on Buenos Aires, the next Tokyo, and the next Taipei.

Great For: Intimate dinners with creative people, making friends, sharing stories.

FYI: Since the space is only open one week a month, it’s best to book ahead. Check the website for the upcoming schedule.
