In With the Old: Old Bazaar Kitchen is one of those old-school establishments that you see local celebrities papped in. It has moved from Wan Chai Road to a new spot on Cross Lane, and is still offering its signature local cuisine inspired by Asian flavors.

Look & Feel: The restaurant’s new interiors come courtesy of design firm MaS Studio, which has decked out the space with local touches like photos of Hong Kong of yesteryear.

Meet the Chef: Executive chef Billy Chung has been at the helm since pretty much the beginning — he’s big on fresh ingredients and Hong Kong flavors.

On the Menu: Asian-inspired dishes like Hainan chicken, curry king crab, and Chiu Chow-style bak kut teh.

Great For: Impressing your por por, or boss.

FYI: In true Hong Kong style, custom menus for private parties are available, too.

This writeup is a news piece and was not based on a restaurant visit. The Loop will update this post once we’ve visited in person.
