Creative Cocktails: Little sister to Cocotte, this cocktail club is nothing but fun, with creative concoctions, eclectic interiors and a foosball machine within arm’s reach.

Look & Feel: The Candace Campos-designed watering hole instantly gives off good vibes with its multi-colored interiors, bright neon accents, funky furniture and vintage chandeliers. It’s a little bit 80s pop and a little bit of retro Hong Kong for good measure.

On the Menu: Expect all kinds of hard-to-find whiskies and wines, as well as a carefully crafted selection of cocktails that are nothing if not playful. There’s a mix of bar snacks too, and free-flow popcorn to munch on.

Service: Servers are quick and perfectly pleasant, but perhaps not quite schooled on the menu. After glancing at the sugary-sounding list, we asked for the least sweet drink possible but were recommended a cocktail topped with a literal spoonful of sorbet. Hmm.

Jeng: Tucked away down the Shin Hing steps off Hollywood Road, NEO has a great location right next to Munchies. Try the signature Mezcal’s Crack ($90): it’s made from blanco tequila and mezcal so you best saddle up for a strong one. The Express Polaroid ($110) is fun too — and, yes, it includes your very own snapshot to garnish the drink.

Not so Jeng: Though the NEO Hive ($120) looks cool, we find it painfully sweet and a tad too tropical.

Great For: First dates, meeting new people, showing off those foosball skillz.

FYI: The awesome 80s Playboy pinball machine was shipped from New York for your enjoyment.
