Tapas and cars: Mercedes me is one quirky combo — part dealership and part “tapas” restaurant, the 3,000-square-foot space on the prominent corner of Queen’s Road Central and D’Aguilar Street aims to be an all-in-one lifestyle concept conjured up by Mercedes Benz and Maximal Concepts.
Look & Feel: Think industrial-chic 2.0, where exposed structures and columns look more polished rather than rough, and copper elements warm up the whole space.
Meet the Chef: Spanish chef Edgar Sanuy, formerly of (the now closed) BCN, is at the helm.
On the Menu: It’s an eclectic mix of Japanese, Peruvian and Spanish at Mercedes me. The signature dishes include sea urchin on nori cracker, and an oyster, prawn and lobster ceviche platter. There’s also a full menu of Pisco and sherry cocktails to complement all the dishes.
Great For: A fancy-casual meal, drinks night.
