Clean Eats: Mana! Raw is a breath of fresh fare on crowded Wellington Street, offering lean, green, mostly uncooked goods to health-conscious types from a streetside take-out.

Look & Feel: This tiny shop has a very simple setup—picture a blackboard menu, a counter at the front and a narrow bar table that seats three to four comfortably on the right.

On the Menu: Take your pick of “vushi” (sushi, without the seafood), fresh juice blends, and other raw snacks.

Service: Nothing fancy here, but you can expect quick in-and-out counter service.

Jeng: The vushi are impeccably seasoned, and don’t make you miss the real stuff too much. The juices are also ridiculously refreshing and some are even substantial enough to work as an entire meal.

Not so Jeng: Not all items at Mana! Raw are actually raw—so if you’re following a strict regimen, it’s best to ask before you order.

Great For: Mana! Raw is great for a cleansing, meat-free treat or a post-steakhouse redemption.

FYI: Owners Bobsy and Christian Mongendre also run Life Cafe, Mana! Fast Slow Food, and Mana! Cafe.
