Seafood Heaven: Bistro Concept Group continues its slow takeover of Sai Ying Pun with Lobster Shack, which joins the group’s other establishments such as Flying Pig Bistro and El Macho. As its name suggests, it serves up the beloved crustacean in every way you could imagine.
Look & Feel: Tucked onto a quiet street in Sai Ying Pun, the cosy space features a lively, ocean-themed mural as well as cosy, jewel-colored booths and seats.

On the Menu: Lobster, lobster, and more lobster. You can order it in a bisque, in linguini, in a roll, or in a salad. You can order it grilled, or you can order it with ribeye steak. There’s more on the menu than just lobster, however — you can also pick among a wide range of other sumptuous seafood dishes, from crab cakes and cocktail shrimp to scallops ceviche and fish and chips. The mains and starters are accompanied by a variety of vegetable and potato-based sides and juices and soft drinks.
Great For: It’s all about the seafood, of course.
FYI: The restaurant does brunch on weekends from 9am-3pm and a very reasonably priced set lunch on weekdays for $118.
