French Finery in Wan Chai: The St. Regis Hong Kong made waves when it opened earlier this year, and L’Envol is the French fine dining restaurant among the hotel’s four F&B offerings.

Look & Feel: The hotel’s interiors are by celebrated Hong Kong architect and designer André Fu. L’Envol classes things up with plenty of gold, marble, and crystal chandeliers against a calming cream palette.

On the Menu: Expect innovative, beautifully plated French haute cuisine prepared in an open kitchen. Lunch and dinner menus are carefully curated featuring plenty of seafood, with the lunch set being particularly affordable for a fine-dining joint.

Meet the Chef: French chef Olivier Elzer cut his teeth at Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and founded his own restaurant ,Seasons, as well as a premium food production business. He’s also consulted at The W Hong Kong.

Great For: Splurging in grand style, special occasions, impressing friends.

FYI: There’s a private room available that accommodates six to eight diners.
