All You Can Eat: Kitchen at the W is one of the fanciest hotel buffets for stuffing your face.

Look & Feel: Double-height ceilings, shiny bronze-gold decor, and cool lounge music hardly augur for the carnage that’s to come.

On the Menu: Everything, pretty much. Currently, Kitchen is running four differently themed buffets from Monday to Thursday, rotating through seafood to barbecue to Japanese to pan-Asian. Regulars include a raw bar, salad bar, cold cuts corner, grilled goods station, and a brilliant desserts display.

Service: Professional, friendly staff are on hand for drink orders and general guidance, but the rest is up to you.

So Jeng: The raw bar is typically quite generous, offering everything from Boston lobsters to crayfish to oysters. The satay skewers from the grill are smoky and delightful, and the desserts taste as awesome as they look.

Not So Jeng: The pumpin’ music and the impeccably posh space can be a bit overwhelming when all you want to do is eat and not be judged.

Great For: A family chow down, a group celebration, a festive feast… or whenever you feel like going all out.
