Café founder Johnny Liu envisioned these inviting hangouts with comfort and conviviality in mind. As an experienced interior designer, he has lent his talents to global brands like Agnes B, Uniqlo, and Adidas. Now, he’s sharing his passion through Hap Coffee’s vibrant yet tranquil design.

Johnny made the most of the waterfront location with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interior with natural light. An open, airy feel keeps energy buzzing all day. Against the crisp white backdrop, a playful splash of blue grabs the eye – coffee cup illustrations by Johnny’s daughter Lena that also appear in the logo alongside a running figure. “However busy your day is, Hap’s coffee is your best companion on the road,” Johnny notes. His whimsical touches imbue the space with both creativity and comfort.

On the Menu

The diverse menu at Hap Coffee aims to please all palates with shareable plates and heartier options. Those craving indulgence can build gourmet burgers piled high with premium toppings or dig into bowls of pasta brimming with seasonal veggies and sauces. Flatbreads like margherita and pepperoni satisfy pizza lovers too.

For lighter fare, the salad selection changes daily based on what’s freshest. Think crunchy greens with proteins like grilled chicken or salmon alongside dressings like lemon tahini or sesame ginger.
