Modern Italian: After three years at Fenwick Pier, Giando finds a new light-filled home in the trendy Star Street neighborhood.

Look & Feel: The location feels classy and contemporary thanks to clean, neutral palette and lots of natural light.

Giando’s fancy new digs

Meet the Chef: Florence-born chef David Tamburini, a Michelin-starred master, is heading up the kitchen at this Italian fine-dine.

On the Menu: It’s all Italian, all the time at Giando. You’ll still find the delectable thin-crusts pizzas but the menu has changed quite a bit since the move. Look for a bigger focus on homemade pastas, vegetarian options, cheese, gelato and desserts that are theatrically prepared tableside. Dishes such as carpaccio, spaghetti mancini “aglio olio” and fresh sea urchin certainly pique our interest. A boutique wine list handpicked by sommelier Emanuele Berselli aims to round out the experience.

Great For: Romantic nights out, classy lunches, living la bella vita.

FYI: The former location at Fenwick Pier has been rebranded as Già Trattoria.
