Havana Heaven: A brand new addition to Wan Chai, bar/deli Deligator brings Cuban cocktails and cuisine to town.

Look & Feel: Deligator has an unusual shopfront, with a brightly painted red door and window that ensures it stands out among its surroundings on Johnston Road. There’s an industrial, edgy feel to the place — find eclectic art on the walls and antique accents all around.

On the Menu: There’s a mouthwatering variety of  made-to-order sandwiches, including El Cubano ($80), plus perennial favorites like lobster rolls ($120) and Philly cheesesteaks ($95). On the drinks side, offerings include Cuban classics like daiquiris, mojitos, Dark and Stormy (all $110) and of course, the Old Cuban ($115), made with Havana 3 Years, lime, mint, white sugar and prosecco.

Great For: A night out with exotic cocktails and nibbles.

FYI: Deligator is run by the folks behind African- and Middle Eastern-inspired bar Djiboutii.
