Legendary Chicken Rice: Singapore favorite Chatterbox Cafe joins the bevy of exciting F&B offerings at K11 Musea, serving up its delicious Mandarin Chicken Rice among other Singaporean dishes.
Look & Feel: Located in the basement of the mall, the 2,200-square-foot space is fun and friendly, with lime and bottle green accents combining with woven basket detailing, a geometric floor, tropical wallpaper and plenty of plants.
On the Menu: The restaurant is best known for, of course, the award-winning Mandarin Chicken Rice. Chatterbox’s take on Hainanese chicken rice that’s served with chilli sauce, ginger and dark soy sauce. We’re also eyeing the jumbo scallop laksa, fried Hokkien noodles and coconut ice cream that comes in a young coconut shell.
Great For: Comfort food done great.
FYI: The restaurant’s signature dish, Mandarin Chicken Rice, is so named because the restaurant’s first location opened at Mandarin Orchard hotel in Singapore in 1971; at the time, it was the only five-star hotel restaurant serving up popular street food.
