Camp Food: Camping can be a lot of fun, especially when it comes to food. At least, that’s what Minden Concepts hope people will think as they launch their new glamping-themed restaurant, CAMPSITE.
Look & Feel: Inspired by the glamping trend (that’s glamorous camping, ICYMI), CAMPSITE is inspired by the gorgeous tented camps that dot the wilderness of Africa and the US. Interiors feature plenty of natural and modern materials with wood, marble, and steel all coming together to create a rather elegant whole. With natural light filtering through floor-to-ceiling windows, design-forward chairs, and striking lighting fixtures, you certainly won’t be roughing it here.
On the Menu: The menu at CAMPSITE focuses strongly on sustainability, seasonality, and provenance. Translation: expect seasonal, artisan ingredients that elevate the campfire cooking. Expect prime tenderloin burgers, Wagyu steaks, flame-burnt Dungeness crabmeat, and Dutch Oven wild rice. Of course, it wouldn’t be a real glamping restaurant without CAMPSITE S’mores.
Great For: Hearty, rustic fare with a modern edge.
FYI: CAMPSITE does its own spin on the classic Snakebite drink – the CAMPSITE Diesel.
