Craft Beer Den: If a good beer is the way to your heart, then look no further than BrewDog. You might recognize the label from trips to the UK, as the company launched in Scotland in 2007.
Look & Feel: Industrial and a little bit retro, given the exposed bulbs and copper accents. There are tons of stools, a few leather couches and a box or two to use as stools, plus more room to spread out upstairs.
On the Menu: Over 200 types of beer, brewed by the BrewDogs themselves, including Punk IPA, This.is.Lager and Dead Pony Pale Ale. While the beers are free of preservatives and chemicals, they are also said to contain “teeth and balls.” So be careful. The snacks menu goes as far as stout ice cream s’mores with homemade beer marshmallows, and we have to applaud them for the effort.
Service: If you can speak the craft beer lingo, then you will get pretty far.
Great For: After-work catchups, hanging out, spending all your money on beer.
FYI: Ask about the Beer School so you can be a craft beer know-it-all.
