New and Improved: After the closure of its Lan Kwan Fong digs last August due to the redevelopment of its building into offices, the Gordon Ramsay-helmed modern British eatery Bread Street Kitchen & Bar returns with a stellar new location on The Peak.

Look & Feel: The iconic black-and-white checkerboard floor and mustard yellow accents of Bread Street Kitchen’s first iteration return, albeit in an airier space with outdoor seating and the sprawling views The Peak is known for. The restaurant is designed after its flagship location in

On the Menu: Expect all the favorites, like beef Wellington ($888 for two), tamarind-spiced chicken fillets ($118) and sticky toffee pudding ($78). The restaurant also boasts an array of steaks from the UK, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand, dry-aged for at least 28 days and prepared over a charcoal Josper grill. The gin and tonic selection is worth a gander, too.

Meet the Chef: Who hasn’t heard of Gordon Ramsay, the British celebrity chef who presents such shows as “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” and “MasterChef”? He’s also behind Maze Grill in Hong Kong. Overseeing day-to-day operations is chef Gareth Packham.

Great For: Entertaining out-of-town guests.

FYI: Be sure to sample cocktails from the special list that’s exclusive to Hong Kong.
