Veggie Burgers Galore: What started out as a series of vegan block parties last summer, Big Dill is now here to stay in a new permanent location.

Look & Feel: Tucked onto Third Street in Sai Ying Pun, the burger joint isn’t unlike a bar or club — all lit up in neon with colorful wall art and bar counter and booth seating.

On the Menu: From Beef & Liberty to Tsui Wah, plant-based proteins have cropped up at restaurants and grocery stores across the city. Big Dill aims to take things a bit further, though — rather than merely serving Impossible or Beyond burgers, the restaurant offers plant-based versions of the whole gamut of comfort foods, from burgers and hot dogs to pulled pork and gyros. What’s more, all of its plant-based proteins are made in-house. Sides include french fries and creamy mac ‘n’ cheese.

Great For: Casual nights out with friends.
