Mamma Mia!: Hot off the success of its first concept in Quarry Bay, Ask for Alonzo is back with a second outlet to bring heart Italian cuisine to Tai Hang.
Look & Feel: Expect a similar look and feel to the original location. Think a cozy trattoria that feels like it’s woven into the fabric of the neighborhood.
On the Menu: The menu here features quintessentially Italian dishes made from family recipes…it’s probably like dining in Nonna’s kitchen. There’s a huge array of decadent pasta dishes, including a deluxe spaghetti carbonara and a deluxe rigatoni amatriciana. Of course, there are paninis and hearty mains, too – hello roasted Italian suckling pig! Some dishes will be exclusive to the Tai Hang location. Need something to wash down all the food? Order the signature deluxe negroni or Auntie Maria’s Aperol.
Great For: Casual catchups for two.
FYI: Ask for Alonzo does delivery – just order through Deliveroo.
