Pizza lovers rejoice – Alice Pizza, one of Rome’s most celebrated purveyors of teglia (pan) pies, has made its highly anticipated debut in Asia with a new outpost in Hong Kong’s lively Wan Chai neighborhood. Founded in 1989 and renowned for crafting delicious thin, light and crispy pizzas according to Gambero Rosso’s standards, Alice Pizza is poised to showcase its signature ‘al taglio’ style creations to the city.
Look & Feel
Upon entering the new location, customers are immediately transported to the bustling streets of Rome. White brick walls and hanging pendant lights bathe the bright dining area, while pops of neon green, white, and red signage evoke the brand’s iconic colors. Diners can watch the magic unfold through windows into the open kitchen, immersed in the aroma of freshly baked dough. Up to 28 pizza lovers can dine in at tables lining the front wall of windows at the new Hong Kong branch, with takeaway and delivery options available. The prime Wan Chai location is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the MTR station
and nightlife area, ideal for a light lunch, casual dinner, or snacking throughout the day.
On the Menu
Nearly two dozen toppings are crafted daily using only fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from Italy. Alongside classics like Margherita are 10+ innovative creations that will excite foodies. Popular options include Quattro Formaggi with buffalo mozzarella, Fiorentina with spinach and egg, and Pizza ai Funghi featuring choice mushrooms. True to heritage, pies are sliced ‘al taglio’ and sold per gram or kilo for build-your-own tasting experiences. Gluten-free and vegan diners are also catered to.
